One of the many awesome spots is on the western edge of the property, where a big oak flat is located for mast crop forage. It has excellent undergrowth and gently slopes away towards Grove Creek located on the adjacent western property. This area allows the deer to bed facing North with the predominate winds coming from the southwest. If they sense danger, they have multiple escape routes making it an ideal place to raise fawns. I have spent ample amount of time on the property learning its ins and outs. I have never been disappointed on this tract and am always excited to come around the next corner or over the next ridge top. The anticipation of seeing multiple herds of deer and flocks of turkeys will truly never get old.
