Personal Profile

An award-winning Realtor and former journalist, "Realtybill" Bill Cockshott has been successfully representing real estate buyers and sellers on the California Central Coast more than 20 years. He has been honored by the Pismo Coast Realtors as a Realtor of the Year for dedication to his clients, the community and fellow Realtor professionals. A long-time resident of Arroyo Grande, he is a graduate of Cal Poly University and Arroyo Grande High School (AGHS). He is a proud follower of both the Cal Poly Mustangs and Arroyo Grande Eagles. Having lived in South San Luis Obispo County for over 30 years, Realtybill uses his extensive area knowledge to better serve you in all of your real estate needs. As an example, he knows some great golf course, ocean view and rural home locations that might fit your individual needs. Prior to becoming a Realtor, he had a career in newspaper management and editing. He uses his marketing skills from that career to the advantage of his sellers. He also enjoys service to the community. RealtyBill is a member and past president of the Arroyo Grande Lions Club, where he often can be seen making tri tip sandwiches or involved in some other fund-raising Lions' activity. He is a Melvin Jones Fellow, the highest honor that can be accorded a Lion for service to the community and Lions International. He also is a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and a board member of the Jacqualyn Palchak Cancer Fund, and also finds time for golf and enjoying the wonderful Central Coast. He also serves on various Pismo Coast Realtor' committees. He and his wife, Marilyn, live in rural Arroyo Grande. His first wife, the late Vi Cockshott, was a retired Arroyo Grande High School foreign language teacher. Both of his grown children, Daphne Manos and Dr. Randall Coeshott, are AGHS graduates. Call RealtyBill at 805-441-5902 or 805-773-2100 for real estate assistance.
