He spent the first 38 years of his career working within the profession of cultural resources management, starting as a young field archaeologist, and eventually retiring as Vice President of one of the nation's leading and most respected firms. His experience is vast, but built on common ground principles of community resilience, as he became adept at the preservation and adaptive reuse of historic residential properties and commercial architecture.
