Información Personal

Personal Profile

Having been a former military spouse for nearly 25 years and the mother to a currently serving Veteran, Kim understands the often strict timelines and unpredictable nature of military relocations. She is dedicated to serving our Veterans and has recently added the Military Relocation Professional certification as well as the coveted Accredited Buyers Representative designation to her list of accreditations. Kim recently began volunteering at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center as well, as a way to give back to the community and serve those who serve! Kim purchased her first home in Jefferson County, WV in 2003 at the age of 24, lived there for 9 years until moving to Berkeley County in 2012 and then back to Jefferson County in 2020. Kim was previously a Geriatric Nursing Assistant and enjoys helping seniors with downsizing. She is the mother to four great kids: a son, Aaron; and three girls: Brooke, Jenna and Kate. She is now also a grandmother to her new grandson, baby Jackson! Kim was previously a RamseyTrusted™ Real Estate ELP and still lives the "babysteps" in her daily life. In her down time, Kim enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking, gardening, and hiking, playing banjo (claw hammer style) and spending time with her children. Kim is also an advocate for pediatric cancer research having lost a child in 2002 from a rare form of leukemia. To date, she has donated over 25,000.00 to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation in memory of her son, Christopher. Kim previously served as the administrator in a real estate office, during which time she became familiar with contracts and learned valuable skills with an emphasis on attention to detail. She soon decided to pursue a career as a licensed agent which would allow her to connect on a personal level with clients. Kim celebrated ten years as a REALTOR® in March of 2024 and recently founded The Winters Group, LLC; a real estate team made up of Veteran military spouses with a specialty of serving Veterans. Serving those who serve is a passion of Kim's! She looks forward to expanding her business and venturing into additional areas. She and her team look forward to helping serve anyone looking to relocate either to or from the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia!
