As a longtime resident of the Merrimac Valley, having lived in Amesbury, Andover, North Andover and West Newbury, I have an extensive familiarity of neighborhoods, schools, and local amenities as well as an in-depth knowledge of the differences from community to community with respect to things like municipal governance, property taxes, property values, and trends. I'm proud to have been active in community leadership roles such as serving as the Mayor of Amesbury and Chair of its School Committee from 2014 to 2020, and I remain active in volunteer and community activities across the Valley. For example, I'm a volunteer member of the Board of Directors of Newburyport based Opportunity Works, a prominent social service agency providing an extensive array of essential programs and services to individuals in need across nine communities. In addition, I'm also a member of the North Anfover Finance Committee.
