Personal Profile

I came to Florida in 1965 after the US Air Force and became a commercial pilot/REALTOR and flew cargo to South and Central America. I brought CENTURY 21 to Florida by purchasing the first regional franchise outside of California in 1973.

As founding regional partner and President of CENTURY 21 REAL Estate of Southern Fl. Inc. my team franchised and serviced 320 offices with 4000 agents in 22 Florida counties. I've been a broker in Florida since 1973 and lived and worked throughout the state.

I sold my regional franchise to a partner, moved from Miami to Tampa/St Pete in 1984 and purchased an 88 acre waterfront subdivision in Apollo Beach called Symphony Isles. After roads, infrastructure, marina, beach and homes were build and ready for occupancy, a sewer hookup moratorium caused events which led to my bankruptcy in 1992.

With my sons Craig and Jeff, we converted Symphony Realty to CENTURY 21 Beggins Enterprises and built it to 6 offices and one of the 40 top companies of over 7000 CENTURY 21 offices worldwide.

In 2011 I sold most of my stock back to my son Craig and formed CENTURY 21 Beggins Beach Properties. In 2013 Beggins Beach Properties re-united with CENTURY21 Beggins Enterprises to form the largest CENTURY 21 company in Florida.

In 2013 I obtained my Florida Auctioneer License in order to offer our customers another option when dealing with Real Estate. I focus on properties on and near the Pinellas County barrier islands, which consist of 16 individual Gulf and Intracoastal communities.

Most people think they are all the same, however, each little town has its own special features. Each town and property has features, advantages and benefits which can only be known by a trusted advisor who specializes and studies this locale.
