My real estate finance industry career spans over four decades in both retail and wholesale lending in operations, sales, management and a brief stint as an IMB owner. An undeniable passion for the industry is both personally and professionally driven and is evidenced by engagement in causes to support DEI, NAREB, and affordable housing work for underserved communities. Approximately 5 years ago I participated in a joint collaboration with a co-worker while working for the State's Housing Finance Agency and the Mortgage Bankers Association to the launch an innovative pilot concepts called Convergence Memphis. One primary goal of Convergence Memphis is to facilitate new solutions to racial equality in homeownership. The concept has now expanded to two other major metropolitan areas.

Becoming the first African American to obtain the CMB (Certified Mortgage Banker) and AMP (Accredited Mortgage Professional) Designations from the National Mortgage Bankers Association, in the state of Tennessee, where my career started and launching ECH Consulting Services, LLC, represents the pinnacle of career accomplishments. My desire is to use my vast real estate finance experience to ease clients and customers experience as they navigate through the complexities of homeownership financing. Using that same motivation to seek out the best lending support team relationships built on mutual professional respect for my clients is equally important in having a successful and impactful real estate professional experience.
