Doug Rooks is a third generation St Lucie County resident. Having graduated from Indian River State College, he spent his early career in the Wholesale, Dealer Only Auto Auction Industry. Doug has been in Real-estate full time since 2004. He says he chose the real-estate industry because his family has always been investors owning both commercial and residential properties.

His business philosophy is "do the right thing" and helping others. He gives back to his indstry by being heavily involved with the Realtors Association, serving on the Board of Directors, the Professional Standards Committee, and The Education Committee. He also serves as the Treasure Coast Chairman for the Realtor Commercial Alliance Committee and serves on the Corporate Board of Directors for the Realtors Commercial Alliance of West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale.

Doug is driven by helping people, his passion is helping his clients with their real-estate needs, he has been a mentor to new Realtors, and contributes much of his spare time to his church. He loves to ride his Harley alongside his wife, as she loves to ride as well, when they have time. He also listens to audio books, flies Drones, and enjoys photography.

His goal is never to retire, his feeling is you have to have a reason to get out of bed and any day you get out of bed is a good day. Doug's tag line is "tell them you know a guy." He wants to be your Realtor for life
