Colleen Dore was born and raised in Bay City, Michigan. She has been married for 35 years to Arthur, they have four sons, as well as two grandchildren.

Colleen is a Bay City Central graduate and a graduate of the Northeastern School of Commerce, a business college. She became a member of the Michigan Board of Realtors in 1989. Colleen started her career as a real estate agent at Powers Realty 33 years ago. During her years in real estate, she chose to spend time in real estate investments, selling/purchasing, and managing properties around the country (from Michigan, to Colorado, and even Florida) - specializing in single family homes and rentals.

Within the Board of Realtors, Colleen has held a few industry certifications and licenses: Ltd Appraiser, under BSM Appraisals, Graduate of Real Estate Institute, and Accredited Buyers Agent. She also served on several committees including the Education Committee, Auction Committee, Beautification Project Committee, and Paint & Pride Committee - because the appearance of homes in our community matter.

Colleen has experience in several fields outside of real estate, which help her as an agent. She spent many years in tax preparation as a graduate of H&R tax school, she is a certified photographer from the NY Institute of Photography, and spent 12 years as owner and general manager of Tri City IceHawks (a junior hockey team). These fields have led Colleen to be successful in management and improved her skills as a real estate agent.

Colleen truly loves real estate, and considers it an exciting field with constant, new challenges. She recently purchased a business in downtown Bay City, and is in the process of renovating the building to bring an additional business to the community.
