"I like the small classes. The teachers cared about the students learning and over well-being. Very fun and nice highschool. I wish that they provided more for the teachers, faculties, and students."

"No lockers and we have had multiple school threats and the school tells us very little keeping us in the dark. This has made us feel unsafe"

"Grants High School has a great campus but I would like to see the heaters, old gym, and weight room be replaced. I have been attending for 4 years now and our student events have gone down. Our new principal will not allow student freedom of speech and I believe that needs to change. Grants High School teachers and administrators favor student athletes which causes academically inclined students to feel lesser then the others."

"Blooming music/drama programs! The auditorium is a delightful addition to many programs. As the state of New Mexico changed education requirements, teachers were forced to teach more in preparation for "end of course" or "quarterly" exams instead of actual proficiency or college readiness. That being said, I had a couple remarkable teachers that advocated for my education and inspired me to pursue higher learning."

"The school is not completely terrible, but it is not the most prominent school. Grants High School can do more than what it is, half of the staff are substitutes only there to make a check, as well as not actually teaching to help students learn. Our school has the potential to thrive, to help kids achieve more than getting a high school diploma and then working at McDonald's for the rest of their lives. The school could have more Honors classes that allow for students to be better students, but also the students will have to be better. When the teachers know students are not working up to their best potential, they ride them off like a worm in the dirt, send them to detention without giving any regard to actually talking to the student and figuring out a way to help them improve. The athletic department does not enhance their athletes to strive for greatness, coaches cheat their players way through school, give favoritism, and then want to complain that they receive no respect."
