"As before, the teachers were all awesome at Ozark High School. The English teachers each had their own theme for what they wanted to teach, giving their students a broad spectrum of information to contemplate; from The Hobbit and Harry Potter in one class to The Scarlet Letter and The Great Gatsby in another. The History department is a growing aspect of Ozark High with a new AP US history class with an in-class instructor. The technology department was fair with new updated equipment as well as instructors who--bless her heart--kept with the PowerPoint definitions as to possible kinetic activities. There was only one language course, taught by an awesome instructor, well prepared to maintain discipline in the classroom as well as orchestrate a beautiful and creative beauty pageant."
"Ozark High School had the best teachers, especially in the math and science department, such as but not limited to Mr. Highfill and Ms. Smith. They were both very, VERY knowledgeable in their fields, made learning fun, and encouraged the continuance of absorbing knowledge past high school. Not college specifically--though that was mentioned numerous times--but the essence that a person can actually go beyond learning-applying-repeat, to actually considering the knowledge given and going on step further and manipulating and actually TRYING. That was the atmosphere I connected with most. Also, the councilor Cindy Kramer is all around awesome for what she does--even after I graduated, she helped me gain another scholarship to help cover my tuition costs later."
Topic: Overall Experience
"I loved my high school, because the best year going there was no drama, and everyone was very mature and very grasping of the situation of school. We as a school understood and respected each other. Even if you didn't talk to a person very often or even at all, if you had a class with them they were more likely to be your friend than to be discriminating toward you. At Ozark High School, I felt accepted."
