"If you're planning on sending your child to this school, or catholic school in general, I strongly advise you to turn around, run as fast as you can, and don't look back. If you have a smart and talented child, you should not be sending them to this high school. For starters , the "catholic values" behind this school is a bunch of hooey. The "catholic" title is a mere excuse to drain 8k+ tuition out of your pocket, and give your child an extra class (religion) along with a poor environment that is nowhere near a "college preparatory" environment this school values itself to be. Whatever college your child is going to, the number one lesson they can learn is independence. College professors will not run around and pester your child for that one late assignment they have not handed in. They will simply mark down a big fat 0 for your grade. The teachers in this school refuse to give your child a 0, despite multiple threats to; they pamper your child. I have seen kids hand in assignments a week past the due date, and still receive a subpar, but not failing, grade. They may seem generous towards your child's grade, but in the long run, your child will learn nothing, and may even struggle in college. These teachers do not demonstrate the academic structure in college. In terms of the community, your child will have to search a while before finding a decent friend. Some things in this review cannot be said due to the fact that the majority of the school will be offended, but do not waste $8,000+ on placing your kid in a school mostly full of underachievers and apathetic children. Overall, send your child to a cheaper (and probably better) school. Have them experience independence and freedom without faculty breathing down their neck. I know there are better and cheaper schools in NY, if your child is smart. Take my review and you'll be dealing with an emotional and depressed child. Is that worth your money?"
