"There was a lot of diversity within the students and clubs. There was allot of stuff to be involved in and allot of them were fun. Most of the teacher taught well and were easy to get along with. The food there is not that great, and I think they need to have more programs that allow kids with disabilities to interact with others."

"Bloomington High School North is nothing like the stereotypical high school. Most everyone is very accepting of others and the teachers are open to being best friends. The staff really interacts with the students and makes everyone feel safe. If there is a problem it is taken care of almost immediately. I honestly could not have asked for a better high school."

"Bloomington North is a very large school, my graduating class had over 300 people. Bloomington High school North is a school very dedicated to its students. Safety and diversity in the school is great. They also prepared us for college by having a block schedule. However, teachers are almost too dedicated to the students. Students often slack off because they are always allowed to fail. We also had a time period in the day where students could get help if we needed it. Teachers would always whine about late assignments. I felt like this was not always good academically because I never had a chance to learn from my mistakes. I would also like for it to be easier for the students to know more about clubs and extra curricular activities. It is not easy to know about extra-curricular activities. The math department pushed students too far as my counselor and I had agreed as in my pre-calculus they were going faster than a university."

"During my experience at Bloomington North there were positives and negatives. Some teachers were really involved, understanding, and wanting to connect with students but others did none of this. The cafeteria food was very poor so I had to bring my food everyday. If I needed help, any teacher would most likely be willing to help me understand the curriculum. The sports here are not that highly ranked as they used to be and I believe because that is because of the poor decisions of the sports administrator and his hiring choices. The classes here range from normal to AP and I took a broad selection of all. I felt like North readied me for college very well."
