Charleston Native and Graduate of the College of Charleston, Stephanie moved to Columbia in 1983 as a Bank Management Trainee. After 15 years as a Financial Analyst, Regional Credit Supervisor and as the Commercial Credit Educational Coordinator at a local bank, Stephanie left Corporate life for 3 years to help raise her 3 young children ages 18 months, 3 &1/2 and 8 years old, at the time. During those 3 years she substitute taught school in Lexington/Richland 5 and worked a part time sales job with a direct sales company, earning distinctions of top sales, top recruiter and top sales average as well as becoming a Sales Director. In 2000, Stephanie sat for the S.C. Real Estate License after working a part time marketing job for a top producing real estate agent. She was encouraged by the owner and Broker of the real estate firm where she worked to go into sales. Stephanie experienced instant success landing her first listing 3 days after obtaining her license and selling the same home within 30 days. Her passion about the waterfront drew her to numerous lake sales over the years, most recently in Lexington County. Her interests in new construction and renovated homes led her to take continuing education in those areas and help clients, both buyers and sellers, interested in various areas of town to sell and acquire property. She also enjoys helping first time home buyers and completed 67 transactions during the first-time home buyers tax credit act back in 2009-2010. She prides her business on personal service and helping clients after the sale. Educating clients is one of the keys to her success as she walks them through the process. There is no greater joy than helping someone feel the pride of homeownership or ongoing investment goals. Taking skills learned in banking, education and sales makes her job a success but it is her genuine love of people which drives her tenacity in the business. During off time, Stephanie enjoys visiting her 3 grown children and 2 grandchildren. She is a pet advocate and owns a 9-year-old rescue beagle as well as cares for client's and friend's pets. She is an avid healthy cook, baker, and wine connoisseur. You can usually find her on a hiking trail or exploring the outdoors when she is not with clients or family.
