Prior to becoming a Realtor he spent 27 years in the United States Air Force, where he retired as a Chief Master Sergeant (CMSgt/E-9), and a civilian Peace Officer in both California and Utah. He has a combined Military and Civilian career as a Peace Officer, totaling 42 years.

He has achieved an Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force; Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Utah State University, Logan, Utah; and Masters of Arts Degree in Business with a specialization in Human Resource Management from Webster University, Saint Louis, Missouri.

He have received several specialized certifications in the area as a Realtor. As a Graduate of Oregon's Realtor Institute (GRI), and certified in the additional disciplines of: Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA) and Sellers Representative Specialist (SRS).

In that regard he has performed a total of 1,000 hours of volunteer service to the United States Coast Guard as an Auxiliary Chef, since 2018. As a Chef, he has developed, prepared and served over 86,000 meals to our Coast Guard Sailors and their guests, in areas of the Arctic, Northwest passage and both US Coasts.
