I work, live and play in Kennett Square and love it. We are so lucky to live in such a lovely place. If you don't live here yet, please give me a chance to show off this marvellous gem of America. I speak French and Spanish fluently and have made this area my home with my lovely American wife after a career of 31 years in the Canadian Air Force. You might see me out there biking with the Bike Kennet crowd or running the annual Kennett Run event. I also Mentor at the Garage Youth and Community Center every week with a promising young fellow. My wife and I own a close to 200 year old victorian home on 5 acres that we love to restore and bring back to its former glory. Jean-Jacques is my full name and as you can surmise, I must be French. Well, you are half right. My mother is Chilean. So I do speak French and Spanish fluently.

Retired in 2012 after 31 years in the Canadian Airforce as an Intelligence Officer. On my last out-of-country posting, this time in Washington DC, I met my wife, Jacquelynn, while on vacation with my daughter in Mexico. Well, it happened that she lived in KSQ with her two sons and the drive from Bethesda MD wasn't to bad. So we became an item.

We saw a great property for sale in Unionville and we bought it from none other than Janye Bair. Go figure.

Move ahead five years and we still have Jacquelynn's youngest who is attending UHS. The other three are all in university doing great.

On my third year as the race director for the Kennett Run and also a volunteer since 2015 with The Garage Youth Community Centre. Presently I have the pleasure to be a mentor to one of the members.
