Let's face it buying a home is the most important decision you'll ever make. For that matter, so is selling your home. I have been in real estate my whole life. When I moved here from India in 1976, my mother was a successful realtor in the Washington, DC area and so the interest was sparked. I first became a realtor in the early 90's when prices were much lower and interest rates were much higher. Things have changed since then, especially with the advent of shopping for your home online. I took a few years off to raise my three daughters, pursue the passion of teaching (both my parents were educators by training), and have made several moves myself!

In choosing a realtor, knowledge is key, coupled with a chemistry and understanding to work towards your goals, both long term and short term goals. I have expertise in buying, selling, investing, preparing a less than stellar home for the market, bringing in professional opinions to make that less than perfect home (that you "must" buy) into your personal palace, and most of all having contacts for any person whom is needed to make the transaction smooth and stress free. I have lived in all three jurisdictions--DC, MD, and VA--in the past 42 years so naturally, I am licensed in DC, MD, and VA! I know the area-- from urban life to rural life--to everything in between.

I know the regions, the communities, the military bases, the commutes, the parks, the school systems, the shopping, the entertainment, and the areas for simply relaxing.
