The ranch has many seasonal streams that run throughout the property: Jumpoff Creek, San Antonio Creek, Sulphur Springs Creek and Beauregard Creek. In the north end of the ranch there is a large year round pond that is used for fishing and swimming.

The old ranch house is actually two cabins put together. Back in the early 1900 s there was an active magnesite mine in the area. After World War II, the mine was closed and the current owners Grandfather moved two of the mining cabins to his property. The house needs some TLC, but would make a great hunting camp.

This property is a recreational nirvana. It is almost equidistance between San Jose, Livermore and Patterson. The Tule Elk were reintroduced in the late 1970 s into the valley and now number close to 100 elk.
